Temra Pavlovic

rhythm and change, order and movement, software as material

Temra Pavlovic works mainly with film and sculpture and text and a range of image-producing techniques are recurring themes.
She finds inspiration in experimental film and the construction of meaning. In her compositions, she constructs a personal logic, separate from the accepted standard model. After all, seeing, feeling, thinking and understanding are fickle and extraordinary.

In Exaltation, shame [loop], the montage is considered an execution of a system. Rhythm and change, order and movement bring about a particular current. Once established, the system perpetuates, and just like that, the meaning of the image has become unimportant.
