Thomas Sadee

paintings stripped from the frame

In his work, Thomas Sadee touches on the fluidity of painting. By using a thin fabric his brushstrokes are reproduced and thus he breaks the unicity as well as the non-transparency, definite character of the painting.
De used images are merely tools to create a composition. To avoid interference of his personal ideas about the selected image, Sadee uses a so-called random-image-generator.
The paintings are stripped from the frame. Nothing is hidden, not the frame nor the hanging system. From the layering a game of deepness emerges.
